D-man, Although the SDRRSP comment has some merit - CC bought over 100k and sold none today. I think there is a lot more to it than the retail investor buying.

Especially all the buys after it started running today. The typical SDrrsp investor makes their orders first thing in the a.m. or online on the weekend. They would have been the intial orders today. These buys were ticker watchers -

I think there is more to it than that and I am wondering why everyone is ignoring PLM. PLM should be moving too.

I don't really buy the SDRRSP theory.

Although today is the last day (for most of the country - we survivors of the ice storm have till the end of the month), it's only the last day to put money (or equities or...) into the accounts.

This doesn't mean it's the last day to buy equities within the account, you can do that all year.

I think it's the traditional March madness in pennies. The geese are flying and Spring looks early this year. Thoughts of drilling in VSB are on everyone's mind and nobody wants to get left at the station.

'least I hope that's what it is.
