BIG HOPE: CRUTTENDEN ROTH CONFERENCE March 3, 1998 Moti Weiss, COO, presented SAPIENS at 2.30 pm on March 3, 1998. It was very encouraging. A couple of Analysts from a top investment bank were extremely bullish on the company. They felt that the stock simply is under-followed by the Wall Street investment community. In effect, it is a good company which remains undiscovered. Points of interest: -- Beyond the Y2K service, Sapiens is a well-positioned company, for example, Sapiens has a strong presence in the Assembler area, a $1.5 Billion market in the US alone -- at this moment, perhaps almost unchallenged. However this area is not well known. Soon, the market will start to recognize this niche. -- Strong backlog of orders, Y2K and others. -- Strong market presence in Europe, which also needs Y2K, Euro, maintenance and other services for many years to come. -- continuing relationship with large corporations. Mr. Weiss, as well as the Analysts point out the same issues, which are essentially capturing the attention of the financial community. The company's products, services, business orders, are all good. The only issue is lack of coverage by investment banks. Here, again, the encouraging news is that some major investment banks will/may plan to start coverage soon. Mr. Weiss said that he plans to go on a road show to pitch the company to gain greater recognition in the second quarter. From the private conversations with Analysts who were attending the Cruttenden Roth conference, I felt fairly confident that the price of the stock will be at least 12. However, because of these issues (lack of suficient effort till now to capture the attention of investors), there were not as many attendees as might have been possible, particularly in the break-out session following the presentation, where Mr. Weiss was available to meet with investors/analysts on a one-on-one basis. Sapiens simply was not visible in the conference except for the presentation by Mr. Weiss. It was one of the the few presenting companies with no printed materials on any desk. Sapiens is a well-positioned growth company. What is missing: PUBLIC/INVESTORS RELATIONS, PUBLIC/INVESTORS RELATIONS, PUBLIC/INVESTORS RELATIONS!!! Hang on folks!
