Is this going to be a major problem??? Let's say the Brand X disks show up for sale...let's say the IOM shorts, malcontents and competitor agents (hell, might as well make this a REAL conspiracy theory) buy the disks...heat 'em up...freeze 'em...have the dog fetch 'em...whatever...and then...jam the things into any drive in sight...
and then...start screaming about ZIP reliability and returning the drives for IOM fixes/refunds. What hope does IOM have of identifying use of an unauthorized disk in a broken drive???

IMO, the threat to IOM quality image by Nomai knock-offs is far greater than potential market penetration.

Zakrosian, don't forget, if the stores sell the higher priced IOM disks they will make higher margins when compared to the cheaper Nomai disks. This, plus your arguments, make it more compelling for the stores to not offer the Nomai disks.
