Hi, Eric ! Greetings from Europe. I've been a lurker since March 97, since I bought CSCO. I've read and enjoyed your posts, among others. Congrats you didn't sell your long and old position in CSCO during last fall ! I'm currently long w/CSCO, INTC & ASND. For the long term. I guess you don't like ASND ? I don't like it as much I like CSCO, but I think they have good technology in a vastly booming business. For example, my ISP has RAS/RAC from ASND and the backbone from CSCO. Competition is tough with all these CSCO's "ASND killlers" etc., but I think ASND's Cascade business can win some good backbone business too. Opinions ?? But, the big picture is the long term explosive growth of the internet. People here in Scandinavia are really "gadget freaks". Cellular phone user rate is 50%, that is : every household has one (highest rate in the world, thanks to ERICY, NOKA). Combine the internet and the 3rd generation wide band cellular phones and what do you get ? People surfing to net on the beach, in the snow, everywhere ! Regards, tepli
