FUGAZI, You are out in left field with regard to funding. Cancer research is expensive and $30 Billion in 27 years is not a war, it's a very minor skirmish.

FUGAZI, Not much sympathy here for whining "taxpayers". For the past 27 years, the government has averaged just over $1 Billion per year for cancer research. That must be about $4 a head. Give me a break.
I saw some of those audited figures. $50 million in research funding with the government spending several hundred thousand more looking into the accountability of $20-30,000 in indirect costs. The audits were a joke, as are some of the posts on this board.
