To all: Don't be frightened by some profit taking. I've always gone by two rules during a sell-off:

1) Is there bad news about the company?
2) Is this a good/growing company?

I think the answer's No to 1, and Yes to 2.

Perhaps we'll see a short sell-off in the morning (that is, all those, "I have to sell before I lose anymore money," then the price stablizing or going up.

I hope I'm right. Good luck,
Mike

<jbn3,

You do have some of your story correct, but until you know forsure I would recommend you find out the facts as to what we are doing before you post things that are false! Yes, we are still short DELL, but this thing about 30 million to back it up isn't any where close, for DELL is still a small percentage of our total investment portfolio! I can assure you that we would not risk all we had in one short or one long! We have avg. up in our short and sold more calls today, and yes we are down even when we include all the premium we picked up on our naked calls, but not down near as much as you might expect! By the way we are also still short AOL, YHOO, AMZN, VIAS, CTXS, and AVNT to mention a few! With all these shorts we are still net long, but as the market continues to go up so does the number of sell orders we are placing in our long position! With the market at these levels there are other places one can invest their money! We know that the stock market is not the only place to have one's money and know that we do not have to have our money invested in the stock market as most people feel as they do!
