Hi Graham,

I've just got my investor's package from PairGain. I'm still learning alot. The best cash flow potential for xDSL companies look like educational and government institutions. The way universities are laid out are perfect for xDSL technologies. I'm not yet convinced about xDSL being dominate in the heart of major cities. In Canada, most new residential towers (and newer suburban areas) are already wired with fiber, and most of Vancouver and soon Toronto will have fiber to all the major business towers. Fiber optic connections can be priced reasonably, in my building you can have a five 10 mb/sec terminals for as little as $150 month. The building is currently converting to fiber optic from our existing OC3 dish.

Cheers,

Kent

Thanks for the interesting analysis!

I agree about NT - a good long-term play.

I'm not sure that I agree about LU, it may be
worth the price.

I hold PAIR, partly because (on a PE basis) it is
inexpensive compared to the group.

Best wishes - HD
