OK, lighten up, I predict a buyout this year. Alan, read on for a laugh. Firstly, the stock price has nothing to do with Nextel sales people acting like used car sales people. It's manipulated like the rest. Secondly, bad service does not cause the stock to fall. Nor does good service cause it to rise. Did you ever buy a car because the dealer said the service department was good? Hell no. when you buy a new car you don't want to know about service, the car is new, doesn't need service. (you hope) Thirdly, I have broken many a cellular phone in a fit of anger, the battery died when needed the most, service was interrupted while calling to report a freeway accident, service was disconnected during a lunch invitation, and when I got pissed off because the volume was set too low. Airtouch cellular and Los Angeles Cellular could care less, they continue to thrive and I had to buy new phones and re-activate service. One time I called LA Cellular to disconnect the service, cause it was bad, they wanted me to put it in writing, I told them "no need" I broke the phone to bits, this serial number won't be used again" (could hear the laughing in the backround) The stock in both cellular companies moved on, unaffected by Al Gutkin. Al Gutkin was affected, he did not have a phone for over a year, showed them, huh? Moral to the story, buy the stock when you think it's low enough, hold until the company is bought out, this year, price in the 30's. McCaw will move on as another hero, built up the company and sold at a big profit. A legend in his own mind. AT&T will take over and run the business like a business, even if Arnie protests in front of the main office in Virginia. If there is money to be made, take it! Al G., another prophecy to go along with "he who hesitates, gets less to eat"
