Well, muench, I think humor is used on this thead as a buffer, to shield from the world the true feelings of the participants. As you said, it is very disconcerting to have people look inside your thoughts.

I'm sure you have often been in awkward situations where people suddenly laugh inappropriately, it sometimes happens here.

I went back and read all the posts again, because I wanted to be sure which one of us knew what we were talking about. My decision was we both have a valid point. The humor is there, but also the serious subjects, sometimes, interjected with extraneous subject matter, but it is there.

I have concluded that I enjoyed my little romp through the Meta posts, I learned some things I didn't know, about mediation, literature, metaphysical poetry and poets, crocodiles, religions, but nothing about gypsies. All in all, its a very interesting place, with strong undercurrents of something I haven't figured out what, yet.

Thank you for taking the time to post to me. I know absolutely nothing about metaphysical practices, so if I appear ignorant, its because I am. But I try to keep an open mind, because a person never knows what wonderous experience is waiting down the road.

I have concluded that ghunk is not a pain, but wants to say something, but just haven't figured out how to do it yet, without exposing too much of himself. Yes, my gypsy physic abilities are finely tuned to pick up every nuance of emotion. <gg>
