These technologies are interesting, but my own experience suggest that they will not replace relational DB's.

Randy, I have a strong interest in object-oriented database technology so I would be very interested to hear your experiences that suggest they will not replace relational databases.

Maybe you would also like to consider a related question: People often say that 80% (or whatever) of the world's data is not in relational databases. Even if ODBMS do not replace RDBMS in any applications, it's possible they could grab some of the remaining 80%. What do you think of that?
