NO. NO. No. There is nothing wrong with a 53 byte cell.
This was not a discussion about that. The Voice guys want it shorter / the data guys want it longer - They've argued and agreed.

But they never had 40 GB BACKBONES before. Believe me, the rules change. Besides, why do the voice guys care about short payloads if we have Voice over IP?

That's what we should all be asking ourselves. Read my next post to Pat for where this is going.
