Post says president confident

Nuvo Network Management Inc NNM
Shares issued 66,900,000 Mar 5 close $0.075
Fri 6 Mar 98 In the News
The Financial Post reports in its Friday edition that a new roster
of
government clients should help Nuvo Network Management
become profitable
later this year, according to its president and chief executive.
Reporter
Jill Vardy notes that Kevin Vachon told the Ottawa-based
company's annual
meeting that Nuvo has been awarded a $2.6 million standing offer
to sell
network management services to federal government departments
and agencies.
A standing offer is basically a blanket contract, which says they
are going
to buy services from Nuvo with pre-agreed upon terms and
conditions, up to
$2.6 million, according to Mr Vachon. In this case, the standing
offer
allows the government's telecommunications and informatics
service to use
Nuvo's network management service to run the networks of
federal government
departments. He says the contract and continued sales of Nuvo's
services
through its distribution partners will help the company achieve
considerable quarter over quarter revenue growth and
profitability in the
second half of the fiscal year, which ends September 30.
