To all, in early Feb I opined that profit warnings in March will not shake this market. While I see a stampede towards Roth IRA, I was expecting the dumb money base (i.e. liquidity) that is supporting the market to increase. I am not sure if I will stand by the same conviction. One thing that changed my mind is a steep 10 point drop in Intel price in a week. The other is a steep reversal in DELL's ascent. The way I see it, the momentum players, ala Jim Creamer (it takes one to know one -g-), are ready to dump at the sight of the bad news and there may be (just may be) not much dumb money out there to support stock prices on the way down.
Bravo momentum traders! You are going to cause one hell of a damage to the market. -g-

John, the turnips are mauled, but still alive, they watch with amazement and now say "divergence"(whatever that means). They are still very bearish on semi's, networkers and on money center banks, and a long list of other segments. They grudgingly admit that this market can go higher (what else is new) before the players in this poker game fold. MU and TXN will probably give the signal.
