Tony, thanks for your advice. Don't worry, I'm not emotionally attached or heavily invested in.

I only have small stake and have previous experienced with similar situation. I have a rather sizeable amount of shares in ALTN which about a year ago had funding dilemma. After a major partner dropped the cooperation, the stock drifted down all the way to 2-1/4, but has since recovered. Reason given by the collaborative partner to ALTN was similar to reason given by JNJ to AMLN, but in fact there was a toxicity problem in the result of findings.

ALTN had proven it's critics wrong, and is on the way of filing with FDA, I believe next year.
I take this incident with AMLN as a slow down. Sorry if I take anyone's time to much.

tonyt, >> I hope that we're all rational investors/ traders here who were smart enough not to put everything in one company.<< Are you telling me to get out of Dell after all the happy years? Bernie

It wouldn't have been too unpleasant to have put it all in Microsoft or Cisco either.

I bought JNJ and AMLN at about the same time last year
(In fact the JNJ interest in AMLN lead me to consider AMLN)

Oh well, at least one pays for the other ....
