Well, at least somebody's selling to Korea! You'd have to think that yield improvement would be a logical place for cash-strapped fabs to put limited resources:

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Electro Scientific Industries Inc. (ESIO) received a multi-unit order for Model 9275 memory yield improvement systems from Hyundai Electronics Industries co.

Terms weren't disclosed.

In a press release Monday, Electro Scientific said it shipped a portion of the order during its third quarter ending Feb. 28 under an irrevocable letter of credit and will ship the balance over the next six months.

Electro Scientific said the systems will be installed at Hyundai's Fab 7 in Ichon, Korea, and will be used to produce 64-megabit DRAM.
