Larry, I guess the "$SOX to 202" call is new "news" to CNBC.

The problem is it's an old call. Don't have the link, but in early Dec. he was quoted in an on-line publication as calling for a 50% pullback from the $SOX's peak based on his analysis of past industry cycles. Actually, I may have posted the link somewhere WAY back on the thread.

Granted, it's news in the sense that it's market-moving, but the call itself (i.e. Kurlak looking for the $SOX around 200) is about 2 1/2-3 months old.

Still waiting for Pisani to quote an anonymous technician noting the $SOX reached resistance @ a 50% retracement last Thursday <g>

Good trading,

Tom
