NOBODY is ACQUIRING ASCEND!

If I a share for every time someone floated a acquisition balloon, I'd own the whole company.

They got the left foot last Friday.

How would this impact the rumored Nortel acquisition of Ascend?

I doubt they are related.

Alan,

I believe yesterday's (and today's) decline is due in parts to (1) NT/SHVA, (2) CS and (3) network sector pull-back.

I don't know what impact the NT/SHVA renewal will have on NT's rumored acquisition of ASND. I'm not figuring on such a pact.
