Hi mmaker. My feeling from a brief look at Attain and Block is
similar to yours. That is, they are advertising a way of making
a low six figure income on about 100K of equity if you turn out
to be good.

Position trading right now is like shooting fish in a barrel. I can't
believe how easy it is this year.

I'm going to go with Block, and try em out towards the end of
the month. The reason for choosing them over Attain was at
least partly the feeling that there was less pressure to run trades
at Block. If it works out to be easy, then I will consider a home
feed, but I think it is a great idea to take advantage of advice
from others when you are a starter in a field.

By the way, I am still long 2000 shares of ADEX I bot this morning
for 15 7/16. I have no doubt that with a level-2 system I would
have got out and got back in at least once today, for a greater
profit. Like DrRisk, I think the execution is extremely important
to a short term position trader.
I am also looking forward to easier execution of short sales. I
went long AMZN puts yesterday, and was so disappointed with
the execution those market makers give you. I made a K-buck
but the market maker nipped me for at least $375 getting in
and out. (I was "spread"-eagled. I'd have done a lot better
with a shorter term.) I should swear to leave options alone.

On the other hand, I don't envy the option market maker's
situations. Having to provide a liquid market for both sides of
the spread is just a vicious way to have make a living.
