I think you under estimate the length of time Microsoft would take to drag this through the courts.IMHO.

and where did all the sellers go?(knock of wood)

I would welcome that with open arms....being a one time holder of AT&T during the breakup I was more than happy with that result. Missed Lucent.....damm!

If anything the potential breakup of MicroSoft is just another reason to own MS shares.
