NASDAQ down 8, ORCL up 13/16. Q3 ended two days ago. They must have known something about the numbers.

J P, Anyone? Do you think the stock made a major advance today due to the upgrade announcement (from a company I've never heard of - short term buy, longer term hold?) or as a prelude to earnings announcement. I wouldn't call a +.04 and a +.02 major upside, but it sure was better than getting hit with the same stick we've been beaten with for the past few weeks, if you're long. I would consider todays move significant, but I'm not sure why it occurred. regards, Ed
