Ben, >Anyone watching Bill Gates getting fried on C-Span?<

I watched some on CNBC and think his presentation
is pitiful. Heard a reporter saying later that
someone asked all in the room having a computer
to raise hands. Almost all did. Then asked for
hands of those NOT using a MS OS. No hands.
Case closed.<g>

Hope I got the hands story right. Was only half
listening. PS: just saw it again. Barksdale did the
poll. No hands for non-MS OS. He said "That's
a monopoly".

No, I don't get C-Span. How about giving us an "executive summary?"

I read his prepared testimony:
cnnfn.com

If I were him, I think I'd be upset with whoever wrote it. He says Windows has stayed roughly constant in price while adding functionality, but also says computer system prices have dropped. From that it would seem Windows is an increasing part of system prices -- not what I would expect without a monopoly. After all, hardware makers have added functionality, too.

JMHO, of course.

Am I the only guy who notices a similarity between Bill Gates and Urkel. McNeely humiliated Gates. Heck, 95 year old Strom Thurmond humiliated Gates.
