Michel,
I'll try to explain what MAY have caused the drop, keeping in mind, these are just my opinions. Since 1 and a half years ago, the amount of shares out there have almost doubled (some people on this thread feel it may be tripled). PR has been very scarce up until 6 months ago. A ton of 144's have been filed in that time. And don't forget, Bre-x has everybody skeptical about large claims. Also, in one of their reports, they have former barrick and newmont personnel on board, indicating that some of the "big boys" are aware of GE. (someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the companies I mentioned).
Actually, I'm quite pleased with GE's approach. They put getting the operations up and running ahead of hype. That makes it much easier to swallow the the immense claims of over 100 million ounces. If they can reach that estimate of 2.5 million dollars NET per month, that will impress people just as much as the total gold content. Remember, Bre-x didn't come close to mining any of their "gold".
You mention that operating costs would triple if the claim was one third of estimates. Isn't the concentration (ei; 0.45 g/t) the deciding factor for extraction costs?
I think you are doing the right thing by reading all the reports and the posts on this thread, that is good DD. And I thank you for bringing up these questions.
If any one else has something to add to my explanation, I would appreciate it.

Brian
