Allow me to play devil's advocate. I am a shareholder of MRVC.
Looking at the 1994,1995, 1996, 1997 inventories, they were:
18M, 21M, 21M, 24M. All these years achieved rising sequential
sales and earnings without substantially huge increases in
inventories. Does anyone out there feel satisfied with the
explanation by the management regarding its rising inventories?
Do you really feel comfortable with the explanation especially
because it is so clear that in the last 4 years, the company had
achieved rising sales and earnings without huge increases in
inventories?

Too all,

I don't mean to rain on the parade, but while looking at the bloomberg daily transaction log, I saw plenty of small (1,000 to 5,000 shares) blocks on the buy side but a large amount of large sales (10,000 to 15,000 shares) throughout the morning. What the hell am I seeing??? I realize the stock is up, but are those shorts, trades between market makers that mean nothing, or is someone legitimately selling large blocks??

Any insight would be appreciated
