Hello Yaacov,

Re: "My son plays a 24 handicap and that is good for his age! The other day
he told me "dad, in-out!! " Then he told me that I need to weaken the
left hand grip!!"

I forget, as it has been about 15 years since I last played golf (gave it up when I found myself coaching both sons in baseball and one in soccer). There is only so much time. Back to my question, does a too-strong left hand grip tend to cause a hook or a slice? I'm thinking slice (fade to the right) , since about everything in golf is backwards.

Tom Kurlak is really getting to be a royal pain in the a**. Sounds like today he downgraded the entire semiconductor sector. It used to be Soundview's Whittington that kept downgrading Intel as it doubled every 2 1/2 years or so, now it's Merril Lynch's Kurlak. I haven't heard anything about Whittington in over a year. He's probably "retired" in disgrace after all his bad calls. Kurlak should be next. I don't think he'd know a computer chip from a potato chip, a remark that goes down in infamy from one of Bush's people (I forget her name).

Enough ranting for now.

To our Italy based brethren: buongiorno!

From the non-Italy based, but descendant of Italians nevertheless,

Tony

Hi Yaacov,

Investors are probably taking a little money off the table, like Sonny, to re-invest at lower prices. Bonds at 6% isn't all that great, at least to me, If you shop around a few banks will give you better than that. Maybe people need it to pay taxes too, thats coming up fast too. I can't remember where I read it today, but people are finally realizing the asian crisis isn't going to hurt the US economy as bad as they thought. Hope your having a great evening.

Glad you let your son's comment go, just shows he was listening to you. <gg> I need to e-mail you to get those Italian rules for hop scotch too, since it will be getting warmer here soon.

Take Care

Ann
