LCI was mentioned at the shareholders meeting!!

ACN is the network marketing arm of LCI!

acninc.com

"At ACN, we're very proud of our success story. We're one of the fastest growing companies in North America, in one of the fastest growing industries today. ACN is a privately-held, customer acquisition company that markets leading telecommunications products and services to the U.S. and Canada. With our international headquarters in Troy, Michigan, we began U.S. operations in January 1993, and Canadian operations in June 1997. ACN was founded by five entrepreneurs: President Greg Provenzano, and Vice-presidents Mike Cupisz, Tony Cupisz, Robert Stevanovski, and J. D. Sullivan.
The key to our success in the telecommunications industry is our marketing strategy. ACN utilizes network, or multi-level, marketing to offer highly competitive long distance and paging services. We've helped more than 200,000 people set up ACN independent distributorships."

"The field of telecommunications offers tremendous business opportunities. It is the fastest growing industry in the United States. Currently a $600 billion a year industry, telecommunications is expected to grow to $1 trillion by the turn of the century.

The dynamic nature of telecommuni- cations can be attributed to two major events: the break up of AT&T in 1984, which deregulated the long distance industry, and the U.S. Congress Telecommunications Bill of 1996 that deregulated the local telephone industry. ACN is strategically positioned to take advantage of the opportunities created by this deregulation.

Another contributor to the boom of the telecommunications industry is its universal use/appeal. No longer based solely on the telephone (although it is still its staple technology), telecommunications has connected the world via pagers, cellular phones, and the Internet.
The information superhighway is a road with no end, and telecommunications is at the forefront. Consider these facts:

The paging industry is predicted to grow from $3.5 billion today, to over $10 billion by the year 2000.
There are now more than 44 million wireless subscribers in the U.S.
The Internet currently has 30 million users, expected to grow to 175 million users by the year 2001.
At ACN, we can help you become part of this explosive industry, building a telecommunications business of your very own."

What a pleasure to meet you and your wife at the SHM, I'm sorry we didn't get more of a chance to talk. I also want to say how rewarding this weekend was for all of the people I met, dined, drank, and talked with, you folks are amazing.

RB, Pam, Jack, Skibare, Cindy, Snake, River Rat, Seth, Stan and R, Gordie, Rbaron, Bruce H, RBruss, Bill K, and anyone else who I missed, knowing the quality people who invest in this company only reconfirms my feelings about this investment and the good that these message boards can do. Even though this was the first time I met all of these aforementioned posters, it was like I had known them for years.
