Hello? Please show me the research that directly shows that Papilloma Virus causes CErv. Cancer. AS far as the we know, scientists think...that's right "THINK" that papilloma is the cause but aren't sure if yet!. The virus connection hasn't been substantiated yet and that's the fact,jack. But I guess facts aren't a concern to you. I'll send you info to back up what I say.

Ed, Speaking of viruses and cancer, formation of Ligand was due in part to the erythroblastosis virus which contained two oncogenes (Erb A & B), that I was studying, and one (Erb A) that Ron Evans was studying. It's also ironic that one of the genes (Erb B) is a growth factor that acts through STATs (one of LGND's two enabling technologies), while the other (Erb A) is an IR (LGND's other enabling technology). The study of this virus (and other retroviruses, which are distantly related to HIV, the cause of AIDS) was one of the major advances that was a direct result of Nixon's War on Cancer.
