Bill-

When a company is interested in the Net Arm Chip, they are fed a bunch of info on the chip and it's capabilities. If the company is seriously interested and needs more detailed info on it, they can buy a "design kit" which gives them all the detailed specs and blueprints needed to network a product. They can also place a purchase order which is cancellable 90 days prior to shipment.

The company describes a design win as a purchase of the kit + a purchase order. It'll be interesting to see how many design wins they currently have on the conference call. Right now, it is expected that a company will take delivery of product 6 months from the time they purchase the development kit, which should result in sales beginning in the June time frame.

Keep in mind that the "chip-based" method described above isn't the only way Net Arm is being sold, but it is the most exciting and a potentially explosive source of revenues. The chip is also being incorporated in FIBR's own products (since December I believe) and it will be sold as a board based solution as well to print server manufacturers and will likely generate replacement revenue. (I this that method has already begun).
