to all:

Kurlak "the hammer" is back. From briefing:

Merrill Lynch's Thomas Kurlak believes that excess capacity in the chip sector due to slow orders will prompt semiconductor stocks to reach new lows over the coming months; according to Mr. Kurlak, "we don't believe the current rate of PC industry growth will be enough to offset price declines for semiconductor suppliers.".....

nice 1-2 combo from merrill!

Lisa,

Yes, the OSX is doing well.

Look at the XAL, it is almost up 19 at 735 range. The price of CRUDE on a technical basis is bottoming and on a subjective basis, will the Saudis do something to stop its decline or raise the price. Whether they are able to do anything or not is another question, but just the fear of an OPEC meeting could pop the price. This would hurt the XAL's, and this baby moves.
