I absolutely 100% disagree with you

because your theory is that undervalued show direction once they become overvalued....

what if puts become overvalued and stay overvalued and we go down still

what if puts are undervalued..but because of market conditions being so overbought that they become overvalued and we go down...

what if what happens with calls is effected by where the put position is and when the put position changes the call position changes..maybe they are interelated at times and other times not...

there is a mirror image concept and when the mirror image is off it fortells what the market will do...but to see that you have to have BOTH sides...
when testing a theory you MUST look at all parameters at that same time
and cant just assume that because it works with calls it works with puts...or when you are missing 1/2 of the equation that your results of the test are accurate...

there are SO MANY variables to consider you must look at both sides in relation to each other....

it is fine to look at one side as you begin to think about it and begin to test it...and if it looks like the idea has some validity...then if you REALLY want to test it..you will have to get access to both sides...

have you done the 10 day free trial thing yet at stock smart?
