< It seems like the box makers keep growing and they've gotta have drives. Not to mention the huge storage growth caused by the internet.>

From briefing.com

Semiconductor Stocks: Merrill Lynch's Thomas Kurlak believes that excess capacity in the chip sector due to slow orders will prompt semiconductor stocks to reach new lows over the coming months; according to Mr. Kurlak, "we don't believe the current rate of PC industry growth will be enough to offset price declines for semiconductor suppliers.".....

It would seem that the issues of some semi stocks are not far different from storage. Over capacity and demand is not enough. Will this also prompt storage stocks to "reach new lows"?

Regards,

Mark
