1. yesterdays close was 35 1/16 2. how many blocks, in what time frame? ie 100000 for the last 8 minutes. 3. if we were to finish up 1/8 to 1/4, then 35 would be a gap down.

Re: 200dma In hindsight, I guess that was a positive fakeout, rather than a breakout. Often the trendlines offer resistance before becoming support levels...or perhaps overall market dynamics prevailed. Fundamental factors often throw a wrench into TA. On another note, ML downgraded CPQ from Buy to Accumulate, immediately knocking down the stock before the open. Ironic, because I bet they're actually following their own advice for once -- accumulating, that is. Maybe I should pick up some shares... Style Pts.
