Gates: Microsoft has no monopoly news.com

Strictly sardonic excerpt this time.

Hatch then asked Gates: "So your testimony is that Microsoft, with more than 90 percent of the market for personal computers operating systems, does not have a monopoly on the market, and that the established [antitrust] rules does not apply?"

"I'm not going to say anything about legal issues," the CEO responded. "I'm not an expert."

Aw, come on Bill. You came up with the brilliant "compliance with a raised middle finger" strategy. Oh, I forget, Bill's just a software engineer. Anyway, there seem to be plenty of legal expertise among Bill's friends here.
