Good point.

The higher they both get the better ... although it would seem in my mind at least that the smaller the ratio the more importance silver has in valuation of this deposit in particular where silver plays a large part in its valuation.

Barrick typically doesn't talk about silver except as a credit against gold ... in the case of Arequipa silver was rarely mentioned except in these terms yet silver was quite prevalent in the deposit, in excess of 50 million ounces I believe.

In the case of Diablillos, Barrick spoke of an approximate 70:1 ratio when initially evaluating the Occulto deposit ... for someone like me, a picture helps me to conceptualize how that has changed and how the initial resource estimate will have changed as well.

Cheers,

Rick
