Well, this is what I think, since you asked:

The stochastic trading system I have been using so successfully the last 3 mths was designed to give me early sell signals in a falling or flat trend. That trend no longer exists, and this system gave me a sell signal that was too early. Just as it has done in the past when the trend was up. This is good, it means we are definitely in an uptrend.

With that in mind, I think it is time to switch to a system that waits until there is some weakness (the stochastics begin to turn down) before triggering a sell signal.

I'm in the midst of changing all the charts to this new system in light of the confirmed up trend today. Today's action was extremely significant and impressive.

Even with a sell signal on this new system, I'm only planning on selling 10% maybe 15% of my holdings. Only to raise cash to get back in after a dip (hopefully) of 5 to 7 trading days. In the past the OSX has gone up after this sell signal, but more often there is a dip, or at least a flat trend afterwards.

My real selling won't come until I get a sell signal on the weekly stochastics system.

Thean: You are right, I have re-evaluated, and changed my system.

Charts of the old (early sell signals) and new (later sell signals) on the OSX can be seen now at

The individual stock charts will be changed later tonite.
