DVD Video Group Launches Exclusive Research Program; Price
Waterhouse Hired to Track Burgeoning DVD Video Industry

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 1998--The DVD Video Group has hired Big Six accounting and research
firm Price Waterhouse to track the growing sales of DVD Video titles. The primary focus of the proprietary research will be to
track the overall growth of the DVD Video industry and the sales of different types of DVD Video titles, such as comparing
the sales of new releases and catalog titles, and analyzing sales of different genres in the DVD Video format.

This venture marks the first time that the home video divisions of major motion picture studios have joined forces to fund an
ongoing research project conducted by an independent third party.

The proprietary research will be released quarterly, with the first report scheduled for release in April 1998.
