<<Dell broke technical resistance at 128 today in big volume.
Also saw big block trading on Down tick. Not a good sign.>>

Yes, Dell did pierce 128 (low of the day was 127 5/8), but it recovered 3 1/2 points from the low in the last 15 minutes to close at 131 1/8. If you take into consideration the opening price of 131 3/4, then Dell made an impressive recovery for the day. Since Friday is the upcoming split date, I believe tomorrow will be an up day for Dell till Friday. There is no way Dell will go down to 120s before the split. However, Dell will recover in the long run as it has done so in the last year or so.

Andy,

>> TO make profit on Dell, we must watch PC outlook and CPQ's

Best way to make money on Dell still is;
- don't try to time a drop or an upside move,
- read their quarterly earnings-report,
- use your imagination when looking at the future,
- ignore the bears, because they usually misses a few pieces of
the puzzle,
- have patience,
- follow this thread for some background-info,
- keep in mind that "Dell is different",

Have a nice day and good luck with your tradings on Dell,

Paul, ex-bear jr. on Dell
