He did exactly what he was supposed to do and reiterated, ad naseum, that he would continue to meet expectations. Unfortunately, predictability was also strongly emphasized before the big disappointment last year. Still, I tend to agree with you. They know they are guilty of setting expectations too high and too soon for the Pure-Atria merger. Now they are more intent than ever on meeting expectations in order to restore their credibility. This means setting conservative expectations and using flexible accounting rules to build up revenue and earnings reserves.
