John

Soundview's upgrade to short term buy/long term hold and relatively minor earnings upgrade is not really pounding the table for Oracle. Thus, I am not expecting anything other than meeting earning expectations on the 13th. I'd be surprised if we break strongly through 28 based on just this news.

But, we have been below the 200 day MA for 6mos and are the industry leader. Other upgrades could be forthcoming if earning sentiment is good.

Re: the accumulation / distribution question, I think we are still under accumulation and will be until we cross the 200 MA at 32-33. ORCL reminds me of ASND which bounced off resistance at 28 and ran to 38 in Feb about 5/8 pt per day after beating estimates by a penny.

Let's just hope that LE called in all his markers to get earnings in line this Q

Ciao
Daniel.

Market is going to open lower today, good time to short ORCL if open higher, and draft lower, which means reversal up trend failed to get
confirmation.
