Very interesting article but definitely way out on the timeline. With feature sizes this small, I do not know hwether you use lithography or selective deposition techniques like P-GILD. I made a hard copy for the "files".

And now to the other extreme here I was ready to post SEMI 101 from PSI for dummies (laypeople) like me - they are still in the process of completing it but the first two Silicon and ThermalOxide are easy read (and that my level) and pictures for a quick education:
