Hi Frank, I think you might be right. From my analysis they are the small guy who needs to expand through acquisition. I thought about Chevron, PetroCanada, Shell, Domo, and Husky and I figured that Husky would be the best bet. I wonder if the real big guys would be held back due to their dominance at this time. Is there anticompetition concerns? I agree that the "Mother Natures" gas station concept is an excellent fit to most companies. PetroCan did the deal with Diamond Shamrock which I think was more of a partnership arrangement. I would think that any deal would strive to keep the Mohawk name to benefit from all the established goodwill. I like Mohawks current market share, right in the middle. Li Kai Shing tends to be along term player. My bet is if a deal gets done, you will be right on Husky.
