Shirley,,are you saying that if the U.S. Was pushing their rates upto 12-14 % we would still be enjoying 6%, uh uh, The ship was sinking when Trudeau and JC WALKED OUT ON John Turner and left him holding the bag .The gold that Crow and Wilson sold in the 80s ,tons and tons of it, was used to buy US bonds, to back our dollar ,the inerest on these bonds even today is still a big step in turning our country around,,from financial ruin,It took 8 years of tough government and sound policies to stop the slide,,not the easy ride we have seen in the last 5 ...How long will it take this bunch to screw it up again????--------SAM
