"As the story goes, Waterford, a private international investment group, acquired a 42%interest in NNRGA on May 9, 1996. The company's goal is to acquire non-regulated telecommunications companies in a debt-free, public umbrella (i.e. NNRGA). On June 26, Waterford moved on their first target, acquiring Telecom Technologies (TTI) a telephone service provider offering satellite telephone centers and debit card operations in the western United States. TTI adds approximately $3,000,000 in revenues and about $400,000 in profits. "

Looks interesting! Wish I would have been there. In any event, the above information represents about 100% more than we know about NETZ.

and some of this:

Subject 7166;

Well. Maybe someone posted this before. I haven't been through all posts yet. Just though that I'd share something that closed this for me... (Thanx Aleta.) The PowerTel CEO is non other than...

Powertel USA, Inc. is an independent, non-regulated utility holding company which acquires, develops, finances, constructs and operates electric power facilities, telecommunication businesses, and other business enterprises. For the nine months ended 11/30/96, revenues fell 19% to $1.1M. Net loss rose from $258K to $3.1M. Results reflect reduced purchased prices, lower seasonal wind speed, expenses incurred in acquisitions and professional fees.

Unless Hayton and friends bows out (ie sells off Zulu to someone 'real') it's IMO downhill from here.

Could someone please try to persuade me into thinking differently? I want to believe!
