Tommaso, the SE Asia is of major proportion but in the face of it, the stock market retreated only 10% or so. Now, less than 6 months later the whole phenomen is ignored and suposedly Europe is taking up the US export slack.

The point that I am trying to make is the fact that due to major improvements in communication and commuting economic crisis can be dealth with in a much rapid fashion than human behaviour or perception can change.

This also explains some sharp drop/correction in selected stock prices after discovering inconsistencies in the company books - e.g Oxford Healtcare as an example but also the quick recover WMX is another example.

There is no question in my mind that the time of reconning will come sooner than later and in the aspect of a major new inflation wave propelled by food and housing prices, as soon as SE Asia will recover.

Just ideas to toss around.
