I am still holding 40,000 shares of HNLY. After actions on FAMH in the past two days, I am wondering if I should continue to hold my shares. I belive HNLY is worth $2, but how long will it take to get this level? Or I can use this money to invest in FAMH, then come back purchasing more FAMH shares!

Any comments will be appreciated!!!

James

Dear TG,

Yes, but I think the poster was saying, implicitly, that Schwab requires you SETTLE a sell BEFORE buying again. I can't believe they require that.

Sorry I wasn't clear, the cash in account rule only applies to pennies. Over a buck and you can buy what ever you want and then you have 3 days to come up with the cash or sell something to cover the purchase (you can't sell the same security to cover however). So if you're big into pennies, Schwab is not for you.

This is a little annoying I agree. But Schwab has some perks you don't get from other brokers, and their execution is excellent ! I've come in at the bid and out at the ask many times in the last 6 months.

Hope that helps clarify,
Chris

You are correct...I sold DLOVD on Thurs. last week, bought HNLY on Fri. without the settled cash in my account. I've traded HNLY on Mon. and today DLOVD did not settle until close of business today. All trades went though. It does get a bit sticky on the bookeeping end, but everything gets worked out over the weekend. I also keep a record of all trades in MS Money. It calculates profit/loss, commissions and you can chart your progress.

I know some do not like all the broker talk, but Chris needs some info.
