G: I hope that it's been established that I don't play games and I don't try to manipulate this or any other stock. All I've got going for me are my inside position and my credibility. If I blow the latter by using the former, I might as well pack it in. I have no intention of doing so. What I said about our cash position is accurate. I leave it to you and others to draw their own conclusions, particularly when I'm not able to answer every question or speculation as well as fully as you would like. Yamana is in both a very good position right now, and a sensitive one. We have two excellent beginnings for what we BELIEVE will turn out to be profitable silver (et al.) mines. As you know, our share price has turned around for the first time in a year. (To put things in perspective, we closed at $5.80 on this date a year ago, three days before we hit $6.65 on the announcement of aeromag results in Indonesia... (since then, we've supported those results on the ground but you know what that's worth today) and it's been virtually downhill ever since.) We're in a sensitive position because: 1) peoples' reactions to increased stock prices can be unpredictible at the best of times; in this market, more so; 2) we do not have unlimited funds; 3)there are concerns out there about metal prices, silver and gold, with screams from bugs and bears about where they'll go; 4) the market is extremely impatient and demands steady, ever-better news, something which is impossible to guarantee with even the best deposit; 5)we have a number of people who are saying that this is wonderful news and there is good/great/huge potential here... at the same time we have a few critics out there which, for whatever reasons, are down-playing what we've got in Santa Cruz. (None of these has seen all of the data, visited the properties or had an open discussion with our geologists as to why they are hesitant;)and, 6) We have been approached by other companies concerning potential business deals on the properties and/or project and we do not know how these discussions will be concluded. I hope this helps. Greg
