I think all would agree that it is better to have more money than less. It is also in the best interest of the shareholders to raise the money when offered instead of taking a chance of waiting. The YRI management is experienced, has raised money in the past (that is why it has a few million in the bank unlike over 90% of the juniors), has attracted major partnerships in the past and has conducted itself in a very professional manner.

Judging from past conduct and the current interest in the stock it would not be a stretch to assume that Yamana's management is doing everything it can to keep the company financially healthy. It is in their self interest to do so as they are one of the largest group of shareholders.

Sincerely,

Sudhir Khanna, P.Eng.
