Hi, I'm not a stockholder in IRSN, but I just ran across this news item this evening that I found very interesting.

techweb.cmp.com

I am a former TELCO engineer (Ameritech). The current optical/electrical interfaces in TELCO offices are large, power hunger and very expensive. Beyond the military applications, the interface described in this article has enormous market potential in the telecommunications industry, IMO, where it could dramatically lower purchase and installation costs, using far less valuable office space, and cut power consumption. (Assuming at it can deliver on its promises.)

I'd be interested hearing other opinions about this technology. I'll bookmark this thread and try to catch up on the previous posts. This looks like an interesting niche company!

Regards,

Knip
