BEFORE THE BELL - COMS over a point higher on 130,000 09:02 EST Among other active shares, 3Com Corp (COMS.O) rose to 36-1/4 from a close at 35-4/16. A market source said Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette raised its rating for the company to buy from market perform. Semiconductor maker Intel Corp (INTC.O) eased to 85-1/4 from a close of 85-5/16, and Dell Computer Corp (DELL.O) slipped to 131 from a close of 131-2/16. Software giant Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) fell to 83-3/4 from a close of 84-8/16. o~~~ O
