Well they better be working on PC-133. :-)

If they are going to direct this chip at the PC market, which they probably are, they are going to have very brutal margins within 12 months. The biggies are all moving to 64-256Mb densities and away from 16Mb. If this Xmas PC is going to show PC-100 specs all their margins will be squeezed by this time next year.

I just don't see how this can keep going on. Its like the arms race. Sooner or later these companies will be feeding their workers shoe leather. Some of these large firms are simply going to have to get out of the DRAM business, so that the survivors can make money.
