It does not really matter. Your broker is ignorant.They still have to split your shares if you buy then anytime through Friday.

What you want to get in on is the runup that happens the week before and after a split.

Kevin, I think you need to ask your broker a question.

It is true that it will take 3 days for a share transaction to settle.

Ask your broker this. If you buy 100 shares tomorrow how many would you have on Monday?

The answer: 200 due to the split.

I think shares will trade tomorrow.

Think about it Kevin, No one would buy or sell for those three days if the had to pay twice as much and only get half the amount. Advise your broker to get a new job. Advice to you: Get a new broker
